Acceptable Use Policy

Use AiraNote lawfully, securely, and within your plan. This policy protects users, the service, payment systems, and third parties.

1. Recording and content

You must not use AiraNote to:

  • Record or transcribe people without a lawful basis or required notice or consent.
  • Intercept private communications or conduct unlawful surveillance.
  • Create, retain, or distribute content that is unlawful, threatening, fraudulent, defamatory, or infringing.
  • Violate confidentiality, court restrictions, professional duties, copyright, privacy, or data protection law.
  • Exploit or endanger children or vulnerable people.

2. Accounts and Free-plan abuse

You must not:

  • Create or control more than one Free account.
  • Use aliases, disposable addresses, shared credentials, payment identities, virtual machines, or rotated devices to obtain extra allowance.
  • Sell, lend, rent, transfer, or share an account outside plan permissions.
  • Automate sign-up, referral, checkout, refund, or support requests.
  • Use the Free plan for professional, organisational, client-facing, or revenue-generating work.
  • Misrepresent identity, eligibility, location, plan, or usage.

3. Service and security

You must not:

  • Probe, scan, attack, overload, disrupt, or test the service without written authorisation.
  • Access another account, restricted endpoint, database, key, token, or administrative function.
  • Introduce malware, hostile code, denial-of-service traffic, or abusive automated requests.
  • Bypass licensing, metering, device limits, offline leases, rate limits, payment, or security controls.
  • Modify, emulate, hook, scrape, decompile, or reverse engineer protected parts except where law expressly permits.
  • Use AiraNote infrastructure to develop or benchmark a competing service without written permission.

4. Accuracy and high-impact uses

Do not treat unreviewed transcription as authoritative. AiraNote must not be used as the sole basis for emergency response, clinical diagnosis, legal filing, financial execution, employment decisions, immigration decisions, safety control, identity verification, or another decision likely to significantly affect a person. A qualified person must review the source and output.

5. Fair resource use

Do not run unattended bulk workloads, parallel instances, or automated processing that unreasonably degrades the service or exceeds your plan's intended use. Contact support if you need an unusually high-volume or organisational arrangement.

6. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected abuse using proportionate account, device, payment, security, and usage records. Measures may include warning, removing access, refusing a transaction, preserving evidence, suspending or terminating connected accounts, and reporting unlawful conduct.

We consider severity, intent, repetition, harm, and cooperation. You may ask support to review a restriction you believe is mistaken.

7. Reporting concerns

Report abuse or a security concern to support@airanote.com. Do not include passwords, payment card numbers, private recordings, or unnecessary personal information.
